The law requires the United States to regulate the export of certain foreign-produced items destined for Iran. This rule implements the law’s requirements by expanding the scope of the Export Administration Regulations’(EAR) Foreign Direct Product rule for Iran and applicable license requirements, thereby increasing restrictions under the EAR.
